Contiuing on from week 6, once i had unpicked all bits of my jacket, i then did something similar to the glue and cloth task. By using each individual piece of the original jacket, i then started moulding it onto a chair to create a different 3D shape that was not intended for the human body, but a totally different type of shape.
After all pieces were put together onto the chair, i then took the whole thing off the chair and started moulding my new 3D shape onto the manican to see how many different 3D shapes could be created.

Week 6 - Garment Deconstruction
First, we were given a Swedish army Jackets donated to our class. We then individually had to look deeper into the jacket and pick out every detail, such as buttons, pockets etc. I started by looking at the outside of the jacket and worked my way to the inside...
I then turned the jacket inside out, and in detail, looked at the jacket to see which parts i should unpick and take apart. Once i had figured out what unique areas i should leave sewn in, i started to unpick the jacket and take it apart bit by bit...
